VIRTUAL INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON CYBERLAW, CYBERCRIME & CYBERSECURITY 2020(ICCC 2020) 

The Virtual International Conference on Cyberlaw, Cybercrime & Cybersecurity 2020 took place from 25th, 26th & 27th November, 2020, organized by Cyberlaws.Net and Pavan Duggal Associates, Advocates, Supreme Court of India.

This Conference looks at the intersection of issues concerning Cyberlaw, Cybercrime & Cybersecurity. This year, the Conference assumes far more significance as it is dealing with more topical, contentious and relevant issues that the world is facing in cyberspace, given the advent of Covid-19.

This is the only conference of its kind in the world, which is looking at the intersection between Cyberlaw, Cybercrime & Cybersecurity and connected legal, policy, regulatory, business, technical and other issues.  The Conference seeks to adopt a multi-disciplinary approach and brings speakers, participants and representatives from various disciplines in different parts of the digital and mobile ecosystem.

In its previous editions, the International Conference on Cyberlaw, Cybercrime & Cybersecurity has been supported by 125+ international and national organizations. These include UNESCO, ITU, and UNU-EGOV in the UN Family, as also by Intersputnik International Organization of Space Communications, Europol Cybercrime Centre, Interpol, Internet Society, World Federation of Scientists, International Association of Prosecutors, Global Prosecutors  E-Crime Network, and Asia Cloud Computing Association.

The International Conference On #Cyber Law #Cyber Crime & #Cyber Security 2017, was organized on 16th & 17th November, 2017 at  New Delhi, India. 

The International Conference On #Cyber Law #Cyber Crime & #Cyber Security 2017 was organized by Cyberlaws.Net and Pavan Duggal Associates, Advocates.

The International Conference on Cyberlaw, Cybercrime & Cybersecurity was inaugurated by Hon’ble The Chief Justice of India Hon’ble Mr. Justice Dipak Misra on 15th November, 2017 at New Delhi. 

The Conference was organized on a massive scale. The Conference had dozens of distinct sessions with more than 150 speakers across the world.

The International Conference on Cyberlaw, Cybercrime & Cyber Security 2017 aimed to examine and analyze the emerging Cyberlaw, Cybercrime and Cybersecurity trends of today’s times. The International Conference was attended by various international delegates and speakers as also representatives from the national Diaspora representing the stakeholders in the digital ecosystem and alive web.

These include representatives from the Central Government & State Governments, various Ministries, Law Enforcement Agencies, Police, Business, Information Technology, Corporate Sector, Academicians, Scholars, Service Providers, International Organizations and distinguished thought leaders. The International Conference on Cyberlaw, Cybercrime & Cybersecurity has been supported by more than 87 international and national organizations.  These include UNESCO, ITU, UNU-EGOV in the UN Family, as also by Council of Europe, Europol Cybercrime Centre, Internet Corporation for Assigned Names & Numbers (ICANN), Internet Society, World Federation of Scientists, International Association of Prosecutors, Global Prosecutors E-Crime Network, Asia Cloud Computing Association and Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology, Government of India.

51 distinct topics and subjects were covered in the International Conference on Cyberlaw, Cybercrime & Cybersecurity 2017.  Various sessions deliberated on different issues and aspects concerning subjects of cyberspace including Cyberlaw 2017 & Beyond, Cyber Security & Cyber Security Law – Emerging Trends & Challenges, Cybercrime – Latest Trends and Challenges, Electronic Evidence, Ransomware, Botnets and Distributed Denial of Service, Spam, Malware, Spyware and their regulations, Cyber Diplomacy, Cyber Sovereignty, Internet of Things, Big Data, Artificial Intelligence, Applicability of Blockchain for Banking and Finance etc.

The Conference deliberated and came up with the Outcome Document which highlighted the various specific outcomes of the Conference. The Outcome Document mandated various steps that need to be taken by the international and national stakeholders in order to further address legal, policy and regulatory issues concerning cyberspace.
